Data & Account Deletion
Medical Network respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request deletion of your account and all associated information.

1. What Gets Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data is permanently removed or anonymized:
- Your account credentials and profile information (name, email, phone number).
- National ID and identity verification records.
- Appointment history and booking records.
- Health record access logs and granted permissions.
- Prescription lookup history.
- Device tokens and push notification registrations.
- Location data associated with your sessions.
2. Data We May Retain
Certain data may be retained for a limited period as required by law, regulatory obligations, or legitimate medical record-keeping requirements:
- Anonymized or aggregated analytics data that cannot identify you.
- Records required for legal compliance, audit trails, or dispute resolution (retained for the minimum legally required period).
- Medical records created by healthcare providers through the platform, which are governed by the provider's own retention policies and applicable healthcare regulations.
3. How to Request Deletion
You can request account and data deletion through any of these methods:
Option A — In-App
- Open the MedNet app and go to Profile.
- Tap "Delete Account & Data" under the Support section.
- Confirm your identity and submit the request.
Option B — Email
Send an email to privacy@medicalnetwork.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include the email address or phone number associated with your account.
4. Processing Timeline
Deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted. During the processing period you may cancel your request by contacting us.
5. Effect of Deletion
Once your account is deleted, the action is irreversible. You will no longer be able to:
- Sign in to MedNet.
- Access past appointments, prescriptions, or health records through the app.
- Receive notifications from clinics or pharmacies.
If you wish to use MedNet again, you will need to create a new account.
