1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing Medical Network services, including the MedNet mobile application, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You must provide accurate account information (including a valid national ID) and maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. Permitted Use
The platform may only be used for lawful healthcare and operational activities. Users must not:
- Misuse the platform or interfere with its security controls.
- Attempt to access another user's health records without authorization.
- Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
4. Medical Disclaimer
MedNet is a healthcare platform tool, not a medical device. The app does not:
- Provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or clinical advice.
- Replace the judgment of licensed healthcare professionals.
- Guarantee the accuracy of information provided by healthcare providers through the platform.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions. In case of a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
5. Health Record Access
The platform allows patients to grant and revoke access to their health records for authorized healthcare providers. By granting access, you authorize the selected provider to view your records through the platform. You may revoke access at any time.
6. Appointments and Prescriptions
Appointment bookings through MedNet are subject to provider availability and confirmation. Prescription information displayed in the app is provided by the prescribing healthcare provider and is shown for informational purposes.
7. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance and emergency updates may temporarily affect access. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions.
8. Intellectual Property
All platform software, documentation, and branding are the property of Medical Network or its licensors, unless otherwise stated. Users retain ownership of their personal data.
9. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these terms, suspected abuse, legal requirements, or security concerns. You may delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting us. See our Data Deletion page for details.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Medical Network is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Privacy
Your use of MedNet is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction stated in your service agreement. Any disputes shall be resolved through the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
